Google started showing all the HTTP sites as “Not Secure” on Chrome Browser. The move came after 2 years of promise from Google to make the internet safer. Following Chrome 68, all the unencrypted site will be labelled as Not Secure. Today I will tell you how you can either remove the “Not Secure” Warning from your Chrome or Switch the Site from unencrypted HTTP to Encrypted HTTPS.

Earlier Chrome Browser used to show Green padlock for Secure Sites while Unsecured sites used to have a small info icon which when clicked used to read “Your connection to this site is not secure. You should not enter any sensitive information on this site (for example, passwords or credit cards), because it could be stolen by attackers”. Taking the security more grievously, Google started going harsh on the sites which do not have HTTPS.

Without the HTTPS encryption, it is possible for the third party to intercept the information you send to the website. It is never recommended to enter your account credentials and other details in unencrypted website.
