Reliance Jio Infocomm Ltd. along with its SIM and Network services also launched a bundle of useful apps on Google Play Store and Apple App Store like JioPlay TV, JioCimena, JioMusic etc. And these apps are exclusively available for Jio SIM card users and run only on Jio network.
Today I will tell you a very simple trick to run Jio Apps like JioTV and JioCimena without Jio SIM card or Jio network on your Android and IOS powered smartphones without any much hassle.
Note: For Method,1 you need to have a Jio number and Jio password. You can get it from any of your friends or relatives having Jio SIM.
Steps to Use JioTV and JioCinema without Jio SIM Network
Method 1. Using an Older JioPlay App (Needs Jio ID & Password)
- First download MyJio App and JioTV (or any other Jio App of your choice) from App Store. (Download any older version of JioTV App)
- Now open MyJio App and open MyJio (manage your account).
- Here click on sign-in and enter the Jio number and Jio password (Ask any of your friends or relatives using Jio SIM for their number and password).
- Once successfully signed in, open any Jio app like JioTV and start enjoying the digital world for free. (Again sign-in if asked)
- If you get a pop-up message that the App is available for Jio SIM users only. Then just simply clear all recent tabs and again try to play the Jio App.
- After few attempts, you will be successful in playing the JioTV or JioCinema app on your smartphone.
Tip – If you have a Jio 4G data, you can just simply play a channel for a couple of seconds and then switch to any other network.

Method 2. Using a Modded JioPlay TV Apk (No Need of ID & Password)
You can even watch the JioTV Play without the ID & Password just downloading the Modded Apk file which does not require you to even download the MyJio App nor does it require you to enter the Jio ID and Password.
You can even watch Star Channels on JioTV App itself without Hotstar App redirection.
The app may not work on all the devices. If it causes some issues you need to retry for few times.

Thanks Nikhil, But it’s really quite bad experience while running Emulator on Windows system , do you have any idea how to run JioTV on IOS & Windows without Jio Network not using the Emulator as well.

Hello nikhil this app was working great but now it is asking for update and there is no button to cancel update and it stopped to run so is there any way so that you can mod this app so that it won’t able to check for updates from Google automatically because i tried every mathod and after using apkeditor also this is asking for update so if you can do this please make a update so that again it not ask for update

The first thing you need to do is connect to a VPN with Indian Server and the second thing is fake your GPS location as if you are in India.

Which VPN server and how to fake location?
For VPN with Indian servers do a Google search. (I recommend hide.me)
And to fake your location
Step 1. Clear All recent tabs on your device.
Step 2. Make sure your VPN is enabled and location is set to the India
Step 3. Now Download Fake GPS Pro app on your device from Play Store.
Step 4. Now go to Settings → About phone → Build number.
Tap on the Build Number 5-7 times. You will see the message ‘You are now a developer’. The Developer options can usually be found at the bottom of the main settings menu.
Step 5. Now in Developers Options, you can ‘Allow Mock Locations’ or in some devices, it says you to ‘Select Mock Location App’.
Step 6. Now Select the Mock Location app as Fake GPS Pro.
If your Developer options allow only mock locations then simply turn it ON.
Step 7. Turn ON the GPS location on your device.
Now open the Fake GPS App and Search for any of the City; New York City, Chicago, Los Angeles, Philadelphia or San Francisco Bay Area.
Step 8. Tap on “Click Here To Select The Menu” and Start the fake location.
(If you will see a blue bubble on your screen, simply pull down the notification bar and click on Hide)

Hi Nikhil, I am using Jio tv apps for the last two months but after its update my android box showing only half screen for jio tv. I have checked all the setting and even reset the box also but could not find out solution. But the others apps like ditto, sonyliv are working fine.
