Managing a bundle of prescriptions in an organized manner and taking them on time is definitely one of the challenging tasks. Personally speaking, I mostly keep all my drugs in a single place. However, when it comes to restacking my meds, I often get confused among the handwritten prescriptions. And if you are visiting multiple doctors, it might be even tougher for you. But thanks to Apple’s Health App, we can now easily manage our medications without much effort.
The Health app is a medication management tool introduced by Apple with the launch of iOS 16. We can list all our prescribed medications in one place and keep the stack updated periodically. Moreover, the app also reminds us about our medicines from time to time. But what about if you need to remove a particular medication from your log in the health app?
Well, the Health app doesn’t provide us any option to delete an item from the medication log. As a result, a lot of users cannot find a way through this. But here we are with everything you need to know. In this article, we will check out how you can remove medication from your log in the Health app on your iPhone.
How do you Remove a Medication from your Log-In to the Health App?
Unfortunately, the Health app on iPhone doesn’t offer any dedicated option to remove medications from your log. But here are some workarounds through which you can easily remove items from your medication log in the Health app.
- Firstly, launch the Health app on your iPhone.
- Now, go to the Browse section and go to your Medications.
- Search for the medicine you wish to remove.
- Swipe left over the drug name and tap on the ‘Archive Medication‘ option.
Alternatively, you can also try the following steps as well.
- Once you open the medication list, tap on the Edit button at the top.
- Next, simply click on the Archive Medication option beside the particular meds.
And that is all you need to do in order to remove a medication from your log in the Health app on your iPhone. Once you archive a drug, it won’t appear on your medication list anymore. Also, remember that it cannot be added to the favorites list after archiving a drug. So, make sure that you won’t need the meds anymore before archiving them. Additionally, if you want to remove a medication from the list completely, you can also select the ‘Delete Medication’ option as well.
