Tips to Fix iPhone Screen when it is Super Zoomed

Remember that if you have some sight problem, having the zoom feature enabled will help you locate and use apps on the screen.

However, if you do not need the screen zoom feature on iOS, you can turn it off anytime. Usually, it is disabled by default on the device.

Turn off iOS Accessibility Zoom on iPhone.

Visit the iOS accessibility settings to disable the screen zoom on the iPhone.

  1. Open the iPhone settings.
  2. Go to Accessibility > Zoom.
  3. Press the toggle next to Zoom to turn off the screen zoom.

If you want to enable screen magnification, following the same steps as above, you can turn on Zoom on iOS.

Update iOS

If the screen is getting zoomed even after turning off the aforementioned Zoom feature in the accessibility settings, the problem may be with a buggy iOS build.

  • To restart the device, long-press the side button until the Apple logo flashes on the screen.

For iPhone 6/7/8/SE 2nd Gen/SE 3rd Gen

  • Long-press the side button until you see the power off prompt on the screen.
  • Pull the slider on Slide to Power Off.

For iPhone SE 1st Gen/5 Series or older

  • Press and hold the button at the top corner to see the switch off prompt.
  • Hold and drag the power off slider to turn off the iPhone.
  • Long-press the top button to view the Apple logo flash on the screen, indicating the iPhone has restarted.
