Dynamic Island for Xiaomi Phones
There is a new theme in the market which has a Dynamic Island feature in it. First of all, the theme is still in the beta stage so we don’t know if it’s gonna work on your device or not. Secondly, we don’t know if this theme is safe or not as there have been reports of malware in MIUI themes previously.

The theme first came into the limelight when a fellow Xiaomi user tweeted about this theme. To install this theme on your device, follow the steps below:
- First, download the MTZ Tester application from Play Store here.
- Now, download the GrumpyUII file from Telegram.
- Change the GrumpyUII file name to GrumpyUII (Indian Users).
- Now, open the MTZ Tester app and click ‘Choose MTZ, ‘then select the GrumpyUI file from your downloads.
- You will now see the screen below showing the loaded MTZ files, click on ‘Apply‘ beside GrumpyUI.
- Now your screen should display the file path and some random Chinese on top. This means the theme is successfully applied.
Things to know before you apply this theme:
This is a third-party theme from an unknown developer.
The theme can only be used on MIUI 13 and later.
Dynamic Island only works on the lock screen.
