Setup:
- First of all, install the App from the given link and launch it.
- After that, it will ask you for permission to access your photos, media, and files stored on your phone.
Hide Files Using This App:
- Initially, launch the App and tap on the Folder icon located at the top of the screen.
- After that, select the files or folders that you want to hide.
- Then, hit the Ok button. Do this for all the remaining files that you want to hide and tap on the Hide All button.
That’s it. Now, you have to hide your files on your Android device using a third-party application. Furthermore, suppose you want to restore any of the hidden files. There’s no need to do anything else. The video is now hidden from your gallery app and File Manager both. What if you want to view the files in the future? No problem! Follow these steps:
- Launch the File Manager.
- Now, drag the screen to the bottom of the File Manager window.
- Next, enter the password so you can see the hidden files.
- You’re done. The hidden files are now visible to you.
Method 3: Use Second Space
Now, if you neither want to use a third-party app nor hide it on your phone, then Second Space is for you. Yes, you can use the Second Space feature of your Android phone to give a clone of your phone to the person who borrows your phone. So, if you have no idea about this, make sure to perform these steps:
- To start with, click on the Settings page.
- From there, find and open the Second Space settings page.
- After that, click on the Turn on Second Space option.
- Creating a Second Space on your device will take 20-30 seconds.
- Next, choose between the Password or Shortcut option to access the Second Space.
- After that, once again, click the Continue button followed by Set Now (to set up a password).
- To proceed, you must enter a password for your First Space.
- Next, enter your Second Space password.
You will be directed to the Second Space configuration page. There follow the on-screen instructions to set up your Second Space. Anytime, you can easily turn off the Second Space feature via Settings > Second Space > Delete or Turn off the Second Space.
