Steps to Add Contact Poster on iPhone with iOS 17
Well, before you go looking for a contact poster setting on your phone, you should know that the feature is available only on the public beta version of iOS for now. However, we hope to see it soon on the full version of iOS 17 as well. So, if you are already using the beta version or are willing to try it out, then the following steps will get you through the process.
The following steps will help you access the Contact Poster setting and create your own poster on your iPhone with iOS 17.
- Firstly, open your Contact list and click on your Profile at the top.
- Tap on Contact Photo and Poster.
- Now, tap on the Edit button to modify your contact poster.
- Select the type of Contact Poster you wish to create. You can either open your Camera and click a new picture, choose one from the album, or use a memoji or monogram as well.

Create a Contact Poster using a Photo or Camera
- If you have selected the Camera option, click a nice picture. Otherwise, choose an existing one from your album.
- Swipe left or right and try out the different effects.
- Select your preferred effect, font styles, and other customizing options.
- You can also add text and try different styles and colors on it as well.
Just make sure to go with the one that looks the most convincing to you and save it.
Create a Contact Poster using Memoji
- If you have selected memoji, it will open a new pop-up menu from the bottom. Choose a memoji from the available option or create your own memoji.
- After selecting the memoji or creating it, tap on the camera icon to save it along with an expression.
- Next, tap on the color option and try out the different background colors.
- Also, to make it look more attractive, you can further add some text to it and choose from different fonts, colors, and so on.
Create a Contact Poster using Monogram
- If you are using a Monogram, firstly, choose the background color you want on your app.
- Type some text, add any font style, color, thickness, etc.
Once you are done with creating your poster, tap on the Done option. Finally, you can now choose to set your new contact poster on your main contact photo and across your Apple ID as well. If you go with this option, go on with the further instructions accordingly.
Otherwise, simply tap on Skip, and it will save your Contact Poster and redirect you to the page that appeared on clicking on the Contact Photo & Poster the first time. And that’s mostly it. You have successfully created your first contact poster on your iPhone with iOS 17.
