  5. Clear the data and cache of both the Phone App and SIM Toolkit to solve the problem.

Note: Deleting app data will delete all files, accounts, database, progress related to the app. If you do not want to loose your data then look for other promising solutions below.

Solution 2: Reboot your Device or Soft Reset

Rebooting your device will stabilise any operating system lags and also increases the RAM storage for the app to work properly.

Solution 3: Clearing the Google Services Framework cache

Google Services Framework syncs your data and stores device data. It also helps in proper functioning of Google Play Services.

  • Go to Settings > Application Manager > All > Google Services Framework > Tap on “Force stop” & tap then tap on “Clear cache” button.
  • Reboot your device.

Solution 5. Reset all App Preferences

  1. Go to Settings of your Android device.
  2. Open Apps/Apps manager.
  3. check for All Apps.
  4. Tap on menu icon.
  5. Click on Reset App Preferences’.

Solution 4: Factory Data Reset.

If above methods are not effective enough then only resetting your device will solve the problem by deleting all junk, malicious files and bugs which cause the problem. Open settings and under backup and reset. Click factory data reset.
