Sony has kicked off its PlayStation Black Friday 2026 sale early. According to the PlayStation Blog, PlayStation Store Black Friday Deals begin on November 4 at 12:00 a.m. local time, with up to 75% off thousands of PS5, PS4 and PS VR2 games, expansions and add-ons.
If you have been holding off on a game until it drops in price, this is the window Sony is pointing to. The sale runs for the whole month, but it does not stay the same the whole way through.
PlayStation Black Friday 2026 key dates
| Date | What happens |
|---|---|
| November 4, 12:00 a.m. local time | Black Friday Deals start on PlayStation Store |
| November 16, 12:00 a.m. local time | The promotion refreshes |
| November 20, 11:59 p.m. local time | Certain discounts end |
| November 30, 11:59 p.m. local time | The promotion ends |
The refresh on November 16 means the list of discounted games can change midway. Sony also says certain discounts end on November 20, so a deal you see on day one may not last until the end of the month.
What is discounted
The headline offer is up to 75% off across PS5, PS4 and PS VR2 games, plus expansions and add-ons. Sony’s post does not list individual prices, and it says discounts vary by region. In the US, the exact price on a game is whatever the PlayStation Store Black Friday page shows for your account.
This is a digital sale on the PlayStation Store. Sony’s announcement is about games and add-ons, not console or accessory price cuts.
What to do before you buy
Open the Black Friday page on the PlayStation Store and check the price on the specific game, since the 75% figure is a ceiling and not what every title gets. If a game you want is not discounted yet, the November 16 refresh is the next point where new deals could appear. If it is discounted, note that some deals end on November 20.
Sony has not said anything about deals outside the PlayStation Store in this post, so retailer pricing on consoles and accessories is a separate question.
