Press the Power button and the Volume button to boot the device into recovery mode.
On the Recovery mode screen, use the Volume keys to scroll to the option Wipe Cache Partition.
Use the power button to execute the action.
Once the portion is refreshed, use the volume rockers to scroll to the Reboot option.
Use the power button to confirm and restart the device.

6. Factory Reset the Android Device

When none of the other fixes resolve the error, carry out a complete factory reset of the device. All data on your device will be wiped clean. So, before factory resetting the phone, back up your data to the cloud or another device such as a PC.

Here are the steps for doing a factory reset on an Android device.

Launch the Settings app.
Go to System > Reset Options.
