  1. Download any of the VPN app listed below on your Android device.

  3. Once the connection is securely created, open the Android app settings and clear the App data and the cache of Showbox.
  4. Once done again open the Showbox app and you will see video loading fine.

  • For video playback problem in you can try to uninstall Google Plus updates or Twitter.

Go to Settings>Apps/Application manager>Google Plus app>Uninstall Updates.

  • Force stop the app.
  • Uninstall the app.
  • For Amazon Fire TV (1st and 2nd Generation) devices, you have an option to move the app between internal and external storage.

Go to Settings → Applications → Manage Applications (Look for the App)  → Grant all the Permissions.

Audio Issues with the App on Fire TV

If the video is inaudible than try the following to fix the issue.

  • If Fire TV device is connected to an A/V receiver, make sure the receiver is ON
  • You can also Turn OFF the Dolby Digital Plus. Just go to Settings → Display & Sounds → Audio from the Fire TV menu.
  • If you’re using an HDMI cable to connect your Fire TV device to your TV, unplug it and then reconnect or may need to try a different HDMI cable.

    I have been using the Showbox APK for a couple months now on my Laptop through the Blustacks Android Software…. I recently started having a problem where every video I played was in Slow Motion and very low pitched, but it wasn’t so slow that I couldn’t stand to watch it, I just dealt with it. Well I was just watching Southpark and all of a sudden it went into hyper-speed and had now sound at all… Please somebody have some advice for me on how to fix this bc I’ve tried going into my android settings, I’ve tried my cpu settings. I’ve tried anything I can think of, I even downloaded a new video player hoping the video’s would play at normal speed with no luck whatsoever. Thanks to Showbox, I haven’t even turned on my TV, I LOVE this app!!!!!! PLEASE, SOMEBODY, I NEED HELP!!!!!

    Hey… I can run youtube videos on youtube in my phone at 1080 p without buffering but when it comes to showbox… It keeps rolling and rolling and takes too much time( last it went 45 min till i stopped it). And on mx or other players it shows can’t play the link.

    Seems like we all have slightly different and very recent issues with Showbox. I have two tablets and Showbox works on neither. Can’t cast anymore using Allcast, can’t dowload on one, in fact I can’t even watch anything on one!

    Showbox won’t allow me to choose a server. When I click on watch now it shows me the different speeds and how many seeds but then plays on my phone when I have “other player” selected in all my settings. I’ve tried downloading the vpns but that doesn’t seem to fix my problem. I have to keep downloading the movies i want and then usung localcast to cast to my TV. So annoying.

    My showbox keeps buffering and then when it does play is pauses throughout the whole show or movie. Ever since the newest update its sucked with all the adds and not playing at all. Torrents gives people viruses so i won’t use it. Please fix this our i will have to delete it. My friends have already done so?

    Hi when i use film or tv links on showbox app it says playback error on mx player but ive not tried normal android video player yet to see if that helps.

    Help! After only small audio problems for years with Nov 2018 updates Show Box is exercise in frustration as in gives me every error you list. Plus only allows downloading with Torrents on either my Samsung pad or on my new One plus phone.

    I have been using Showbox for about a year now and casting to my television and my projector and now I cannot even getto see what movies are on because it won’t open and if I can get to a movie it says server error this is December 2nd 2018 is there a problem and is it going to be fixed?     I’ve been using Showbox for years, but the recent update on android box has left some very odd ads appearing before a film starts to play. Is it just me? Do I have a virus?
