I use to be able to see when my texts were sent, delivered, and read but all of a sudden it has stopped. i have to switch back to txt messages once its failed. I have googled everything and tried everything it suggests but nothing is working

I have tried so many times to reset google messages but it doesn’t work I try take my number off through the activation portal nothing works at all can Google please help me. I have contacted Samsung they tried to help but nothing works they said to contact google

Thanks for your effort but none of this works for me. I have just switched from iphone to a Samsung and I have wasted an entire day messing about with this phone. Everything seems to take several more steps than on iPhone. The thing is my iphone was old, 6s and still it was smoother and simpler.
