[RESOLVED] Gmail account disabled because Google detected a policy violation

Google Account Disabled

Google Account Disabled

Google has started disabling the Gmail or Google accounts that are violating the policy. If the account is disabled then you’ll receive a message saying ‘Google Accounts are usually disabled because Google detects a policy violation.’

You’ll be also redirected to the account disabled page to know more about what policies have been violated. Basically, below are few mentioned policies that you might have violated that resulted in disablement.

  • Illegal Activities: Spreading terrorism, drugs, or hatred using Google services like Gmail, blogger, etc.
  • Collecting PII: Collecting personally identifiable information in the form of web forms or any other malpractices.
  • Spamming: Spreading spam or unauthorized emails to the recipient without there consent.
  • Fraud, Phishing, and other Deceptive Practices: Do not use any tricks or hacks to violate the Gmail services to collect any non-shareable information.

There are many more policies with respect to individual Google product or services being used.

How to recover quickly disabled Google due to policy violation?

One should stop violating the policy bestowed for using free Google services. If your account has been disabled, that means you might have already received a warning mailer about the policies. It’s best that you immediately stop policy violation after receiving the warning mailer.

Its generally said that you’ll receive the warning mailer 10 days before the disablement. If you continue the violation, then Google has to take an stringent action and disable the account.

If your account is already disabled, then fill out the account disabled form with complete correct details for a quick recovery.

If the Google team consider that the policy violation has been stopped then they’d definitely restore the account with complete data. The turn around time for Google team is mostly 2 to 3 days, however, they’d also contact if they need any additional information.

When I was navigating through forum thread, I noticed that most of the accounts were not recovered even after multiple restoring requests. I’d strongly suggest to first understand the policy and briefly post the information in the last section where it says ‘please let us know any information we might find helpful’ while submitting the request form.

    • My dad didn't do anything to violate the policy and his was disabled. I was helping him with his account. He wanted it back to the old version and also wanted to see all emails on the same page as he has not been seeing some emails because of all 3 tabs. Which is STUPID to have a social and promotion tab anyway. He's 82 years old and needs help with them. I have always helped him. So after I changed things to be better for him the disabled his account. So stop with the fricken BS lies!!!! Google/Gmail is disabling accounts on purpose for absolute no reasons!!!! Go find those people who send multiple spam emails. I'm shutting down my Gmail because I get anywhere from 600 to 700 spam emails within 2 days time!!! My dad has lost everything Thanks to you Jerks!!!! And I'm putting that mildly!!!
